The BBC has had some rather interesting stories about computer games recently and how they are evolving beyong mere entertainment. Most recently they've ran a story about a nintendo game called Brain Training , this is a hugely popular game in Japan especially with older generations. The game challenges you to some basic maths, reading and other puzzles then tells you your IQ age, the more you play on the game the better your brain becomes. Other recent stories include a feature about games which involve dance mats being used to combat obesity, games being used to treat medical eye conditions and how more complex games can help prepare young people for the complexities of life
