Hardworking scientists in Yorkshire have been doing cutting edge research in the field of Bacon Butties. Apparently "Scientists have created a mathematical formula of how to make the perfect bacon butty.
What was the result of their ground breaking efforts? Apparently the secret is in how crispy and crunchy the rashers of bacon were. My fave quote from the story was this,
Four researchers at the Department of Food Science spent more than 1,000 hours testing 700 variations on the traditional bacon sandwich.
I'll bet they bloody did, bet you wouldnt get as much time spent on the perfect bowl of cornflakes.
