How to download music Legally! - from 7Digital

For those wanting to buy singles in support of Liverpool's Number One Project, here is a handy guide I've prepared to help guide you through purchasing music online.

Downloading music from the internet can be really easy. In this guide I will talk you through downloading music from a site called 7Digital - it is an easy to use site which doesn't require you to install any programs such as itunes.

Word of warning - if you are using a work or school computer make sure you have permission to download songs before you do. Many companies have a clause about the misuse of computers, downloading songs without permission can get you in serious trouble.

Is Richard Branson trying to be Mr Fantastic?

For his next big plan for the private space industry, Richard Branson is thinking up new ways to excite affluent space tourists: flying them into the biggest lightshow on Earth, the Aurora Borealis.

What made me laugh most was the question of health and safety regards passing through the Northern lights.

Although launching humans into an active aurora holds little scientific interest (if it did, it would have probably been done by now), it does pose some prudent health and safety questions. As Dr Olle Norberg, Esrange's director, confidently states: "Is there a build-up of charge on the spacecraft? What is the radiation dose that you would receive? Those studies came out saying it is safe to do this." Phew, that's a relief.

Try telling that to the fantastic four who gained superpowers after exposure to cosmic rays during a scientific mission to outer space.

Why 2008 might be the end of the world

Scientists have come up with a nice and terrifying theory to worry us as if January wasn't depressing enough - time may be slowing down and eventually stop according to a group of scientists from the University of the Basque Country in Bilbao, Maybe the passage of time itself is slowing down, and distant galaxies only look like they're accelerating because our deep-space telescopes are essentially looking back in time to see them, to when time was going faster.
OK sure it is just a theory, and time would probably never stop until billions of years into the future - but come on that wouldn't have scared you into reading the article

The Pope has ordered his bishops to set up exorcism squads to tackle the rise of Satanism.
Vatican chiefs are concerned at what they see as an increased interest in the occult.

There is a pile of man made rubbish floating in the ocean twice the size of the UK

This is just the beginning of the year and already it looks as if its starting to hit the fan, lets see what other good news we can find for this year
